The Emmanuel Emmaus Community 

Epiphany is an ecumenical Christian ministry for young men and women who are in custody of the North Carolina Department of Corrections.  It is based on weekend models such as Kairos Prison Ministry, Cursillo, Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, Happening, and Cross. 

The word "Epiphany" is frequently associated with a new beginning or a sudden and dramatic change of direction.  Epiphany Ministry believes that even though the inmates have made bad decisions they are still children of God.

As members of the Christian community and church, we are called to share the Good News of a loving God with all of God's children without regard for race, gender, age, or crime which they may have committed.
